AMY LAWSON - OPERATIONS DIRECTOR

Amy and her husband Richard learned to love mountain biking back in the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. They moved across the country and several years ago were lucky enough to land in Truckee!  After their daughter Emma (16) joined a NICA team in one of the earliest seasons of the local Nevada League, Richard and Amy became committed to getting #morekidsonbikes!  The Lawsons' have helped coach teams, started and directed a new Nevada League team, and continue to love introducing local kids to the awesomeness that is mountain biking in our beautiful area!  Amy is thrilled to be a part of the TNT Board and is interested in hearing your great ideas for our organization.  You can reach Amy at: amy@rideontnt.org

JESSI ERNST - VOLUNTEER DIRECTOR and NORTH TAHOE COORDINATOR

I am a Physical Education and Health teacher at North Tahoe High School and resident of Truckee. I am an avid mountain biker, climber, backcountry split boarder and all around outdoors person. My goals as a physical educator have always been to expose kids to fitness activities that are "outside the box." Team sports are irreplaceable in that they promote camaraderie, build relationships and provide important lessons on personal values, but what about those who just aren't interested or are looking for something more? I love to teach children about the fitness and recreation opportunities available in our beautiful mountain surroundings . That's why our mountain bike program is so important to me. Not only does mountain biking promote skills development, excellence, teamwork and professionalism but it also teaches respect for the community, environment and the importance of being an advocate for environmental conservation. JIM EASTERBROOK - COMMUNITY LIAISON

Jim Easterbrook moved to Truckee with his wife Amy in 1996. An avid rock climber, mtn biker, skier and ski mountaineer, he taught 6th grade math/science for 8 years at North Tahoe Middle School. After supplementing his income as a painting contractor for several years, he has since switched careers to being a full time painting contractor and running Easterbrook Painting, Inc. Emma (16) is his only daughter, who now attends Truckee High School.

Jim's passion for the outdoors has led him to adventure racing in Chile's Patagonia, mountain biking through South America, climbing in Thailand, mountain bike racing in Costa Rica, ski touring in Europe, heli skiing in Alaska and simply adventuring all over the Sierra. Jim brings to the TNT board a love for seeing kids on bicycles. Contact Jim at: jim@easterbrookpainting.com

SARAH KRAMMEN - SECRETARY

I am a math teacher at THS, teacher-liaison for TNT, one of the Elite Team coaches, and the Secretary of the board. Although this is coming up on my fifth season riding mountain bikes, I have jumped in with both feet! I bikepacked across Canada two summers ago and started racing at the expert level in enduro and XC last year. I also started the Paco’s Ladies Ride to bring women together to ride bikes. I love to ride as much as possible, especially with the team to push myself and others to their limits. It is super exciting to see the students turn into fast and capable riders and I am stoked to be part of the change!
