BRAD CHISHOLM - DIRECTOR

I've ridden mt. bikes since before there were such a thing. In 1983, my friend and I bent the frame on a Schwinn Varsity to accommodate the fattest tires we could find and I've been a mt. bike enthusiasts ever since. I've instructed mt. biking,  lead expeditions and worked in shops throughout the west, I've ridden trails in many towns, states, countries and on many continents. My hope is that the formation of TNT Jr Cycling will help others come to appreciate the friendships, adventures and lifestyle that mountain biking has given me. Contact Brad at bcbeme@gmail.com

JESSI ERNST - VOLUNTEER DIRECTOR and NORTH TAHOE COORDINATOR

I am a Physical Education and Health teacher at North Tahoe High School and resident of Truckee. I am an avid mountain biker, climber, backcountry split boarder and all around outdoors person. My goals as a physical educator have always been to expose kids to fitness activities that are "outside the box." Team sports are irreplaceable in that they promote camaraderie, build relationships and provide important lessons on personal values, but what about those who just aren't interested or are looking for something more? I love to teach children about the fitness and recreation opportunities available in our beautiful mountain surroundings . That's why our mountain bike program is so important to me. Not only does mountain biking promote skills development, excellence, teamwork and professionalism but it also teaches respect for the community, environment and the importance of being an advocate for environmental conservation. Emma (16) is his only daughter, who now attends Truckee High School.

Jim's passion for the outdoors has led him to adventure racing in Chile's Patagonia, mountain biking through South America, climbing in Thailand, mountain bike racing in Costa Rica, ski touring in Europe, heli skiing in Alaska and simply adventuring all over the Sierra. Jim brings to the TNT board a love for seeing kids on bicycles. Contact Jim at: jim@easterbrookpainting.com

SARAH KRAMMEN - SECRETARY

I am a math teacher at THS, teacher-liaison for TNT, one of the Elite Team coaches, and the Secretary of the board. Although this is coming up on my fifth season riding mountain bikes, I have jumped in with both feet! I bikepacked across Canada two summers ago and started racing at the expert level in enduro and XC last year. I also started the Paco’s Ladies Ride to bring women together to ride bikes. I love to ride as much as possible, especially with the team to push myself and others to their limits. It is super exciting to see the students turn into fast and capable riders and I am stoked to be apart of the change!
