OUR Story

TNT’s journey started back in 2016, when a small group of teachers and mountain biking enthusiasts from Truckee and North Tahoe came together and drafted our articles of incorporation to become a 501(c)(3) non-profit. From there, what started as a casual locals club with 20 or so riders began to grow into a bigger program, and now is a respected locally based organization with multiple programs serving over 150 student athletes.

OUR Mission

To inspire the youth of the Truckee/North Tahoe area through mountain biking.

THE Vision

TNT will achieve its mission by using the bicycle as a means for its members to sustain a healthy lifestyle, develop social and sportsmanship skills, build confidence as an individual and as an entity greater than one’s self; to understand and participate in advocacy and stewardship; appreciate the need and value in volunteer and civic work; to provide opportunity where it might not exist.

TNT intends to help develop these assets in their members, to help them build a sense of character and ethic as adolescents with which to carry on into their adult lives.
