A few years after moving to the US from the UK for work, Sian found her way to Truckee in 2013 where she now lives with her husband Dennis and 4 rescued huskies. Sian discovered mountain biking in the Bay Area and quickly pivoted to a successful MTB racing career. She is a 3-time XTERRA off-road triathlon age-group national champion, competed in the world championships (placing 4th), and is a 4-time Leadville 100 MTB competitor. You may also find her competing in gravel biking, open water swimming and trail running events. She co-founded Bike Like a Girl, a non-profit focused on getting more girls on bikes in underserved communities and schools. She is also an IMBA/BICP Level 2 certified mountain bike coach. As a TNT board member and coach, Sian sees this as another opportunity to give back to the community, noting the important life skills she has learned through biking and competing.

Kimberly and her family moved to Truckee in 2018. As a Bay Area native, she grew up frequently vacationing in the Lake Tahoe area. Her love of the outdoors led her to many mountain-based adventures including hiking the John Muir Trail and scaling a handful of peaks in California, Oregon and Ecuador. Although she enjoys a fast-paced technology career in the Bay Area, her heart is in the mountains. Kimberly’s favorite sports include mountain biking, waterskiing, paddle boarding, x-country skiing, snowboarding or a simple hike in the woods. Kimberly is excited to bring expertise from her professional career, coupled with her passion for mountain biking to help provide local students the opportunity to explore nature and pursue health & fitness as part of TNT.
