Pursuing a passion for mountain life, Chris and family migrated from Denver to Truckee in 2021. Soon after learning to ride a bike, Chris’ son insisted on going faster and bigger. After a 20+ year hiatus, Chris was happy to get back on a bike and attempt to keep up with his son. Whether on skis or a bike, Chris enjoys the challenge of the climb and the adrenaline of the descent. Inspired by his son’s love for mountain biking, Chris hopes to foster the same excitement in the greater community. As a Professional Engineer and Operations Manager, Chris plans on refining the organization’s processes to improve the overall experience and accessibility.

Sian pic.jpg

A few years after moving to the US from the UK for work, Sian found her way to Truckee in 2013 where she now lives with her husband Dennis and 4 rescued huskies. Sian discovered mountain biking in the Bay Area and quickly pivoted to a successful MTB racing career. She is a 3-time XTERRA off-road triathlon age-group national champion, competed in the world championships (placing 4th), and is a 4-time Leadville 100 MTB competitor.  You may also find her competing in gravel biking, open water swimming and trail running events. She co-founded Bike Like a Girl, a non-profit focused on getting more girls on bikes in underserved communities and schools.  She is also an IMBA/BICP Level 2 certified mountain bike coach. As a TNT board member and coach, Sian sees this as another opportunity to give back to the community, noting the important life skills she has learned through biking and competing.
